Born in Southern California in 1959, Amanda has been drawing and painting for most of her life. Growing up in an artistic family, she knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist. After receiving a BFA and Art History Degree from Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, she worked in the museum field for over 10 years, including the J. Paul Getty Museum.
In 1996 she became an architectural illustrator. Residing in Orange County, Amanda continued to grow independently as an artist throughout the years, painting primarily in watercolor.
