Born in Melbourne, Australia on June 3, 1871. Levy came to the U.S. in 1904. He was an actor on the vaudeville circuit before settling in Los Angeles in 1926. His caricatures of the movie colony appeared regularly in the Times. During his last years he was an illustrator for Paramount Studios. He died in Los Angeles on Aug. 5, 1934.
