Cameron Clark was born in Hoyoke MA on March 24, 1887. He studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1910-1914), where he was awarded the Rotch traveling scholarship, enabling him to study at the American Academy in Rome. He worked as an associate at an architectural firm (1915-1918), before founding his own practice in 1918.
