Biography David Marshall Campbell
The following text is copied from an exhibition brochure of work by
David Campbell at The Art Center, Southbend, Indiana, October 2-23,
1966. In October, 2006, Greyson R. Ross, submitted the
information, which was given to him by his mother, Katharine Ross, who
was a friend of the artist.
Born in Adrian, Michigan, and schooled in Canada, Mr. Campbell served
in the U.S. Air Force and earned his B.A., M.A., and Ph. D. degrees at
the Ohio State University. He is a professor of art at the State
University of New York at Oswego where he has taught painting,
watercolor and graphics for nine years. He and his wife have
three young children.
