Biography   Esther Robbins


Esther Robbins is a contemporary Mass. artist born in 1937 in Providence Rode Island.  She has lived and worked most of her life in the Boston area and summered in Truro and Wellfleet on Cape Cod.

She studied under the New York/ Provincetown master, Hans Hoffman.

Working in several mediums she also studied enamel on copper techniques in Worcester.  She is primarily known for her large Abstract Impressionism pieces but also occasionally worked with metals, painted furniture,Cape landscapes and figural works.

Her original works sold in the $1500-2000 range in shows and galleries in Provincetown, Boston and Cambridge.
