Biography   Sister Mary Divine Saviour

A teacher at Holy Cross School in Manchester, New Hampshire, Sister Mary of Divine Savior, whose birth name was Eva Ledoux, was also a painter, designer, graphic artist and crafts person.  She was a member of the New Hampshire Art Association and part of the Sisters of the Divine Savior, a Roman Catholic order associated with education, health care and advocacy for the poor.

She had studied art at the University of New Hampshire; School of Practical Art, Boston; Montreal School of Beaux Arts in Quebec, Canada; Manchester Institute of Art and Science; and with Philip Hicken, Charles Maillard, Art Schmaltz, John Chandler and John Hatch.
