Biography   Harry Bliss

Harry Bliss is an American Cartoonist and Illustrator. Born in Rochester, New York in 1964 into a family of artists, Bliss went on to study Illustration at The University of the Arts (BA) and Syracuse University (MA).
Harry Bliss began his career as a book cover and magazine illustrator for such publications/publishers as GQ, Business Week, McCall's, St. Martin's Press, Random House, Harper Collins and others. The early illustrations Bliss produced were highly rendered watercolors.
In 1997 Bliss was asked by The New Yorker magazine to contribute covers. His first cover for The New Yorker appeared in 1998. To date, Bliss has created 18 covers for The New Yorker. In 1999 Bliss began publis   ...  Displaying 750 of 2880 characters.
