Biography Harvey Citron
Sculptor Harvey Citron began his career studying sculpture at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York under Walter Erlebacher. Determined to work in his field and to further develop his talent Citron only took work which used and developed his artistic skills. He provided magazines with 3-D illustrations, sculpted prototypes for toy companies and executed required designs for television and film productions.
In 1981 Citron began teaching at the Philadelphia College of Art, now the University of the Arts. In 1988 he added classes at the New York Academy of Art to his teaching schedule.
Citron never drifted from his desire to sculpt figures and stay true to his ideals.
