James Henri Lallemand (Columbia 1934 - New York 2009).
James Henri Lallemand, a surrealist pop artist, was born in Puerto Colombia, Colombia in 1934. He started his art studies at the University of the Atlantic in Barranquilla and also at the National University in Bogota. He later went on to become a professor of art at those same universities. His first solo art exhibit was held when he was 21 years old and was followed by exhibitions in Bogota, Barranquilla, and Manizales.
