Konrad Krzyzanowski was born in 1872.
He began to study painting with N. Muraszki in Kiev Drawing School, and in the years 1892-1897 he continued it in the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts under K. Lebedev and I. Tworoznikowa.
In 1897 he moved to Munich where he studied at a private school.
In 1898 he traveled to Italy and in 1900, settled in Warsaw, where he founded his own school of painting. In the years 1904 to 1909, he taught at the School of Fine Arts.
In 1912 he was in Paris and London. During the years of the First World War he spent time in Volyn, Polesie and Kiev. After returning to Warsaw in 1918, he reopened a school of painting.
