Born in Stockton, CA on July 11, 1911. At age two Ivory moved with her family to Alamo, CA. During the 1920s she produced pastels while attending San Ramon High School in nearby Danville. Following graduation, she abandoned artwork and went to work in Oakland. The niece of artist Percy Ivory, she died in Murphys, CA on June 23, 2002.
