Rodney James Roberson, age 61, of Joplin, Mo., entered the kingdom of Heaven on October 3, 2016.

He was born October 26, 1954, in Joplin, to Joseph K. and Catherine L. (Davis) Roberson.

James was a painter, teacher and lecturer.  He was also a charter member of The Portrait Institute of New York and his works can be found all across the United States.  He graduated from Missouri Southern State University and while there, he did cartoons for the campus paper, "The Chart".  He lived in the Springfield, Mo., area for many years and painted murals for many businesses and the city of Springfield, as well as paintings and portraits for many of Springfiel   ...  Displaying 750 of 1656 characters.
