Biography Rachel Carver
Rachel Carver was a fine post impressionist painter from Trenton, New Jersey who lived from around 1885 to around 1955. Her rich, bold and lively brush stroke is akin to the style of Fred Wagner and William Taylor, two artists from nearby Pennsylvania whom she may have known or been influenced by. Her works were exhibited in the Bianco Gallery in New Hope in the 1970s in a show that included Fern Coppedge and Rae Sloan Bredin. She apparently worked primarily or exclusively in oil.
