Richard James Fowles Sr. passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009 at the age of 85 having lived a very full and blessed life. Richard was born on October 18 1923 in Galveston, TX to George and Anna Fowles.
He served his country in World War II with 867th AAA Battalion in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign. After the war, he married Thelma Telschow and raised a family of four, Harriett, Deborah, Richard, and Phyllis and they resided in La Marque, TX.
