Biography Thais Elizabeth Claus
“Thais Elizabeth Claus (Teddy) died on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Paso Robles. She was 88 years old. Teddy was born in San Francisco in June of 1924 to Bob and Meta Dickinson. Her mother was one of 12 children in the Pepmiller family who were some of the first settlers in the Geneseo area of Creston. She spent her childhood in the San Jose area but often visited Paso Robles where she had many relatives. She loved Paso and settled here after marrying a local boy, Herb Claus. She was happy to stay here for the rest of her life. Teddy was blessed with creativity. She was an excellent seamstress and taught all her daughters to sew. She loved to paint and was a member of the Art Association for many years.
