William Bailey was born in Portsmouth, AR on Nov. 26, 1901. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Black moved to southern California in the late 1920s. After settling in Hollywood, he enrolled at the Chouinard Art School. He died in Laguna Beach, CA on Aug. 9, 1980.
