William Richard Morton Keast was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1889. Keast lived most of his life in Philadelphia where he designed many of the important buildings during the early part of the 20th century. He made many trips to the Orient and often stopped in California to paint.
He died in Montgomery, Pennsylvania on May 23, 1973. He was the husband of artist Susette Keast.
