Stone sculptor Brian Archibald lived and worked in Estes Park, Colorado at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park so as to be near the inspiration for his wildlife pieces. He also traveled extensively to observe wildlife, including 1500 miles of Kenya.
A native of Minnesota, Brian moved to Colorado in 1991, one of the reasons being proximity to a source of marble, his favorite media.
