Fine Arts at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.
He earned M.A. and M.F.A.degrees from East Carolina University in painting, and he
has taken classes at the Art Students League in New York (1978) and the
School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (1974-75).
