Iola Lorie Benton


Iola Benton was born in Mexico City.  Her teachers were Ernesto Kubli, Robin Bond and Toby Joysmith.

She lived in San Francisco, Ca. in 1983 and 1984 where she had an individual exhibition at The John Pence Gallery.  Other exhibitions during that period were at The New Trends Gallery in Santa Fe, N.M. and MLR Fine Arts in Long Beach, Ca.

She has had more than 20 individual exhibitions and about 80 collective ones in galleries and museums throughout the world.

In Mexico her paintings belong to permanent collections of the National Autonomous University, The Technological University of Monterrey, The Metropolitan Autonomous
University and the National Bank of Mexico.  In the United States at the Mexican  ...  Displaying 750 of 1517 characters.
