Shiguang Qiao

Qiao Shiguang was born in 1937 in Hebei, China. A famous painting artist, Qiao was one of the pioneers of modern Chinese lacquer and lacquer founder.  In 1961, Qiao graduated from the mural professional of China Central Academy of Fine Arts.  He won the second prize in the Fifth National Art Exhibition ”Songkran”, and won silver prize in the Sixth National Art Exhibition ”Plateau”, both works were collected by the Chinese Art Museum.

Qiao Shiguang's works focus on the unity of paint and painting, modern painting while maintaining the character of traditional culture, innovation, and gradually move toward independence.  He has held exhibitions in China, Japan, France and other places.  Currently he is a professor   ...  Displaying 750 of 976 characters.
