E E Heikka's nephewChuck Anderson
My 87 year old next door neighbor is Joe Egan. E E Heikka was one of his mother's (Sophia's) brothers, so E E was his uncle. He has quite a bit of information about E E and his contemporaries that he's willing to share. He's not really computer savvy but if anyone is interested in contacting him, I would be willing to facilitate.

My dad, James Edwards, was Earl's nephew and he used to watch Earl work in his studio when he was a kid. My aunt Esther from Lewistown, Mt. was Earl's sister, my aunt. We used to visit all the time and heard stories. My family went to a showing of Earl's work in Great Falls in '95. Coincidentally I met someone in Portland, Or who had several of Earl's works.

Dear Mike, I brought my mother to see you (when you were still in Fountain Valley, as her maiden name was Heikka. You asked me to take a video to Finland & see if a TV station would like to show how successful an immigrant from Finland had been. They agreed to show it, and I told you the story when I returned. However, I've lost track to you. I would like to know more about wherae (Montana or??) there is a museum with his work. Will you please contact me?
