Ted as he was called was my Grandfather, not only did he create beautiful pieces of art, but he also enjoyed photography and writing funny stories for me when I was a little girl. "It's great to sit around and think, while my tea I sip and drink. I scratch my head to furmate the story I will now relate. I also have to close my eyes to bring about a big surprise, so from the comfort of my chair I recall encounters with a bear." This was the beginning of the story my Grandfather wrote to me in 1974. He had such a wonderful, creative imagination, not only through his paintings but in everything he did. The story went on to tell a tale about a garbage bear, and each page had a photo taken by my Grandfather of a bear at the dump. Quite an amusing story. He inspires me to this day.
God bless you Grandpa.
