Re Suzanne C Harris
She is/was a British painter of portraits, figure subjects, still life and views of Camden - not to be confused with the American painter Suzanne Harris.
PS. What is the address on the back of the painting you found?

i have a large painting by suzanne c. harris (framed by James Bourlet & Sons in england). there is also a home address she penciled in). Did she live in London for a time? I know she was involved with 122 green street, "FOOD" and the solomon gallery. I believe she hung out with Jene Highstein and Gordon Matta-Clark.
i think i have an oil painting of hers, and want to research her life and death in 1979 for my own information.
I'm an artist myself and just came by this WONDERFUL PAINTING quite by chance....via a charity shop.
if you are so moved and have any insights or observations , i would LOVE to hear back, please reply, i'd appreciate help if possible.
thanks so much, an admirer
Suzanne was a great artist and a dear friend. I am troubled that her work has been forgotten. She was an influential figure. Although her time on earth was short, she remains in my mind as a lighthouse and an inspiration. Is there anything or anyone who will have the courage and the energy to have her work recognized?
Suzanne Harris, ArtistSally Palmer
Susie was born 9/26/40 in Sharpsville, PA and grew up in Westport, CT. Before getting into art, she was part of the early '60's music scene in Cambridge, MA and then NYC where she and Arthur Gorson were personal managers, concert and record producers. She was the same dynamo and galvanizing figure then as she was in the art scene. From her sister, Sally Palmer.
